Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren at a Glance
Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren is a small country church in Northwestern Illinois. It was the first rural church in Stephenson County. Founded in 1848 with new settlers from Pennsylvania. Our original building was erected in 1858 and is still used today for worship. While small in numbers we are strong in outreach. We have provided missionaries to Honduras and Africa; volunteers in the time of need at our local food pantry and providing free clothing at our "Clothes Closet" and disaster relief after natural disasters.

Our Story
Behind the Scenes
Yellow Creek is known for its presentation of the Gospel in an understandable manner so that no matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, the Gospel is relevant today. We encourage those on the fringe of their belief to come closer to God through Jesus Christ our Savior. Our worship is a combination of traditional and contemporary with on screen additions to the worship.
